The Apple didn't fall far..

I've gotten a job, and a life--which means that I've had NOTHING interesting to share. Though, just as all posts should include...today was different. Sharing with you where I'm employed would probably be beneficial to grasp the story. AND I'm done being a snob.

Alexander's Abilities is a day program (among other things) for adults and children with developmental and physical disablilities, also the place that I work! I work 2 on 1 (2 clients and myself) with the adults in the day program. Day program= a fun time that challeges the adults, and also helps them learn life skills, not to mention socializing with others in the program and the community! Well, today the children's program was short staff and the newbie was summoned. I'll make this a bit short (I know I'm boring the death out of anyone who might possibly be reading this). I had my lunch in my purse--more like snacks actually--and set it in a cubby (remember those!?!), just as other staffers do.

Lunch time rolled around, which for me was after the kids left, lets just say I was pretty hungry. (Gorgeously hungry, yes I DID look amazing) I reached into my purse and was greeted by a sticky substance covering all that I grabbed. I then found the culprit, a red Figi apple. Not a regular apple, but one that had been bit into. Though the biter didn't find the taste very satisfying, and quickly spit it back into the 'recepticle' the apple had been hiding.

MMmMMMMmm...Yummy! That was my pitiful story, I am indeed sticking to it---rather, it's sticking to me.
