Laughs. Flaps. Inapproriate Grandmothers.

If you're like me, the winter (or lack thereof) has the tendency to get you "down". Seeing as I don't have a SAD machine to keep me in check, I've taken to good books- Lou Reed's "Walk On The Wild Side", and foundmagazine. (It's under Habitual Rubbish-->)

Check it all out. Oh, and if there are any amazing "found" articles, books, or songs you've taken to- go ahead and respond.

You can remain anonymous.

Feel free to read into it.

Oh life.

Life Life Lifey-Life.

The more I stare at those words, the funnier they look.

And thats okay.
Life is funny, taking it as anything else is absurd..which goes straight back into amusement.

Depth cannot always be found, and maybe it shouldn't be so sought after. After talking to my friend Alice-she's a great writer, (and her first language isn't even english) go ask her and you'll see- I realized that not being able to explain away your feelings and not thinking too much about situations is okay.

We are crazy random individuals that (often times) have difficulties seeing ourselves as selfish or anything less then perfect.

Don't confuse this for being a Christian morality lesson, because it couldn't be further from that.. Humility, though a nice concept, is not something that population has ANY grasp on.

Working in and being around it all my life has shown me that undoubtedly.

I suppose I'm learning that not everything has to has to be read into, often the honest answer is the easiest explanation.
What a concept.. that honesty is! Looking around at the world around me, it absolutely BAFFLES me that so many relationships lack that ingredient.
Coming into this new year, I've experienced what intimacy occurs when people put down their egos and allow themselves to be...themselves. Through that, we can truly embrace eachother, loving for who we are..and not what someone thinks you should be.
Not placing those expectations on another, and simply allowing our paths to intertwine freely.. Regulations un-needed. If that ingredient is lacking-- there is little to be gained--or lost, really.
After all, each of us lives life differently- why place your own conceptions on another?
It seems absurd.
Ahh, Life.
It all is!
..and I am falling in love with Vonnegut..
