Random bursts of---something..

You know, I often find myself asking...well, myself, 'how in the heck did I get such a cool sister?'. I am still searching for the answer, but that kid really is great. All kids are, really. They're fearless, and have a faith we could only DREAM for. Too cool even for school, if you ask me. But you didn't ask me, and are just reading my thoughts---hahahaha. Squishy splinters. Hahaha. You had to read that. <--and that.

Anyway, I thought a picture like that might brighten up my day...maybe it will do something similar for you.

Today was a wonderfully blistery day. The kind best taken with tea and Frank Sinatra. Note to all Frank Sinatra swooners: I live in Sterling Kansas at Sterling College. You can best reach me in Evans Hall, second North. Is it horrible I don't even know my room number? Sorry about that. If I'm not there leave me a note, I'll be sure to get back to you.

Watched 'Me and You and Everyone We Know' last night, I really do love that movie.

Off to watch 'The Office', my life is full of thrills.

Social Irritation

I am mostly (if not mainly) inept, socially. Each time I discover this it seems to be such an epiffany-yet I do nothing to change it.

Maybe I'm the only person that sees it....
Nah, I couldn't be that lucky. I fear that I am weird--too weird. Either everyone sees it and says nothing, or nobody sees it, and I'm just bored. L
ets imagine the latter.

Might I add just how much I enjoy Postsecret? Once again, I find myself living vicariously through these cards.
I love popping bubble wrap, and I secretly despise children popping it in front of me--especially when I have to be an 'adult'. Maybe despise is a strong word, I can't despise them--I just....

Hey, do me a favor--go to postsecret, enjoy the goodness.

TLC's life lessons can't touch this.

I think the hardest thing about life (at the time being) is realizing those you love will not change, or better themselves just because you offer them oppritunities.

Trusting God, is a concept many find hard to accept, and I'm certainly NOT above anyone in that matter (or any). You can say you trust God, and then still take things into your own hands. Though placing the problem (through prayer) in His hands gets the job done. Fully done, not the halfway 'quick' steps. Patience is a virtue, as is trust. But trust is the harder of the two to accept. Knowing that something will eventually happen is one thing. Not knowing anything, yet staying hopeful that everything will eventually come together is another.

There's a lot of growing up to do yet!

Yay.

Mr. Bittons Tales

He felt deflated, and couldn't find an air pump adequate enough. Staying comfortable had been his problem, and he was now just bored. Rather than allow new things to surround him, he took to all things comfortable. His relationships suffered because of it. Finally, Bittons was smacked in the head by a boulder--a rock just hadn't done it yet.

(This is the part where the heavens open and great brass instruments sound)

Bittons raises his arms up, then moves his feet...much like a child does when they have to use the restroom bad, and cannot supress any longer.

In short: Things were going to change.
