Happy Memorial Day!

Yet another holiday we observe that has lost much of its meaning. I cannot tell you how many people have asked me what the meaning of it is..some were small children, but a disturbing amount were over the age of thirteen. Thinking of what those who fought for our country have had to deal with assimilating back to civilian life, I cannot fathom. Their outlook on life being tainted, seeing a world and people who see them solely as targets...having your world consist of bombs, ammunition, snipers atop buildings.....

Imagine that thought being your last. Rather than enjoying the day off work, or sitting down with some friends, enjoying food, cigars, alcohol, BBQ, and swimming pools. Take a moment away from your hamburger, to remember those who fought and died in the armed forces. Lets not allow this day to pass in vain.

Annoying little Blonde Girl...

Being trapped in a house with two children under the age of eight wouldn't be that bad..until I had to condend with my most lovely 'stepsister'. I really love kids, but when it comes to a child who lies to me consistently, has an annoying voice, and ALWAYS is calling me 'Aleash-Aleash'--I have a hard time smiling at her. I hate to say that I can understand child abuse, when it comes to her, but I do. Mind you, those might be cute characteristics for a four year old..but this kid is seven The thing about her is the way in which she manipulates, it's amazingly obvious, even for a seven year old. Though I could just be giving myself (and my 5 year old sister) too much credit.

I really believe getting out of the house (via summer job) would be a healthy alternative for my sanity...and the step. I've taken the first step-application..Now we'll see.

Oh, I sure am going to Hell.

Thank you for flying Machuca Airlines, it is currently 102 degrees--and the temprature will only increase. We hope you enjoyed this post, and the complimentary peanuts.

The Heat is on!

Inhale...Exhale. Delightful.

I've been in Mesa just four days, and already I feel the need to get a job. Doing nothing of cosequence is NOT my idea of a good time. Though my friends have kept me busy--VERY busy!

Resolution was something I really needed, and thank GOD I recieved it. Only in His timing...but it was hard to wait for it. I guess it always is.

Could I get an AMEN? ^
It's funny how others 'secrets' can convey so many of your own. We seem to believe that we are such 'individuals', I don't believe we are. Though, I'm sure it might be on account of the melancholy feeling I am suffering from. You'd think having green eye shadow covering my eyes--and 1980's looking hair (thanks to my wonderful sister) would get me out of this 'funk'. Alas, it does not.

Is it wrong that I find a friend of my Father's attractive? Granted, he IS in his mid twenties...and married. I don't care, I can appreciate him all I want. :)

There is so much to talk about, but I find myself at a loss for words--and time. Until a later date, my pretty!

Unlike Kansas Pancakes...

First year in Kansas is almost over---YES!

Don't get me wrong, I love Sterling...but I'm ready to be back in Arizona where temperatures are consistently hot, and I can see Lauren skateboard. I think I have the coolest little sister ever...No joke. A five year old that skateboards (and is able to do everthing else, without another thought), I hope some of that will rub off on me this summer! It certainly is time to leave, with the knowledge of the enormous pile of papers and exams to study for all I can think of is getting away to the "Valley of the Sun". Never would I have thought I'd say I missed saguaros...darn.

About the postcard, actually increadibly revelant. Especially considering Froese's Human Social Context! Quite easy, thinking not required.

Another thing has really been on my mind--bubbles.
I'm DONE with all the Christian bubbles, and the completely closeminded thoughts. It really does make me feel sick at times, and I am SO thankful last chapel dealt with that. James Cole is splendid, to call the campus on precisely what we've been doing makes me want to "heel click". What makes me laugh, is to see those that point their finger...and think of the things Jesus would call the Pharisees on-- Pointing fingers at others, and holding others on laws. Forget relationships, make sure you do your daily devotional!

I think I need to be in a more liberal area, sad to say that the LDS suburb Mesa, is.

Give me 2 months, and I'll want Kansas back...despite the fact that not everything is flat here.

Thank God for concerts in Phoenix, and Hookah...I'm there.
